Clover

If you have a Clover device (https://clover.com), you can set it up on Midori so that you can send the amount to be charged to your device from Midori without having to manually enter it.

How to set up your Clover devices

  1. Go to your store's point of sale.
  2. On the left sidebar, click on Payment Terminals.
  3. At the top right, click on Add a Payment Terminal.
  4. Enter a name that identifies a specific device (e.g. FrontDesk).
  5. Select Clover in the devices section
  6. You will need to sign in with your Clover account for Midori to communicate with your device.
  7. Click on Connect your Clover account
  8. Enter the serial number of the device. To obtain the serial number, you can go to https://clover.com > Account & Setup > Devices.
  9. Save.

How do I send a purchase to your Clover device?

The next time you process a debit/credit transaction at the point of sale, you will be prompted to send a request to your Clover device.

How it works

Linking your devices allows Midori to send various requests to it. This is done through a built-in app that is already installed, called Cloud Pay Display. If you don't have the app installed, you'll need to install it via the Clover App Market Place.


How do I access other features on my device after it has been linked?

Simply touch the 4 corners of the screen.
